Hill Country Solar Tour
PEC is hosting the fifth annual Hill Country Solar Tour in partnership with the Texas Solar Energy Society (TXSES) on Oct. 3, 2015. The event kicks off at PEC's Liberty Hill Office, where attendees can hear PEC presentations and attend a solar installer fair to get first-hand information from local installers and schedule site visits. The event also features a solar car workshop that gives children ages nine and up the chance to build and race solar cars. Event kickoff and speakers: Begins at 10 a.m. Self-guided solar home tour: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Exhibits: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Kids solar car workshop: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (approximate) Additional children's activities Coloring contest competition entries on display Presentation of coloring contest winner - 11:50 a.m. Activity by Hill Country Science Mill.
